Her running rigging and deck hardware have been upgraded for performance, simplicity and heavy wind conditions.  Simple for one person to sail, beautiful to look at and in like-new condition, GRACE is the newest M29 on the market.

Introduction

GRACE is sitting in the water and ready to go for her new owner.

Hull/Deck

  • Infused fiberglass composite hull with Vinylester resin throughout and Balsa SB.50 core.

  • Molded integral furniture and internal structure. (IGU)

  • External modern fin design lead keel with a palm and is mounted in a molded hull recess with 316 SS bolts.

Cockpit

The M29 with tiller steering is designed to be crewed by a single person so sail handling has been engineered for simplicity, reliability and ease of use. All control lines, sheets, and halyards have been led either below deck or along the cabin top within easy reach of the helmsman keeping the side decks clear and safe.  GRACE has been further upgraded with self –tailing winches on the cabin top and upgraded running rigging, rope clutches and the addition of a traveler system for increased sail shape control.

  • SS Winchard SS folding padeye for a safety harness.

     

     

Interior

The M29’s interior is finished simply with easy to clean and maintain white surfaces balanced with just the right amount of varnished cherry joinery and a teak cabin sole in the “Morris” tradition.

A small cabin contains full-length port and starboard settees with cushions, satin varnished cherry interior trim, hull sheathing and plenty of forepeak storage space. A marine head is concealed under the forward section of settee and varnished louvered cherry doors separate the cabin from the forepeak storage area. Below is the perfect place to stow picnics, sail bags and a great place to nap.

  • Varnished cabin sole and companionway steps (top step hinged for daily access to engine).

  • Pair of varnished cherry trip rings with screens on cabin overhead to cover dorade vent openings.

  • Varnished cherry forepeak access doors with cherry frame.

  • Optional forepeak floor grate.

  • (2) Optional “Auckland” LED reading lights about settees.

  • Settee cushions upholstered in Sunbrella #8076-0000 Echo in "Midnight”

Mechanical

Engine:

  • Yanmar 2YM15C x SD saildrive unit, 2-cylinder, direct-injected, fresh water –cooled marine diesel engine, maximum 14 Hp @ 3600 RPM.

  • Flex-O-Fold folding two blade propeller.

  • Yanmar instrument panel at the helm, with ignition switch, stop button, tachometer and audible alarms for cooling water high temperature and low oil pressure.

  • SS Single lever throttle and shift control.

  • Engine box is fitted with Soundown Vinyl/Foam composite noise reduction insulation.

  • (1) Racor model #215 spin-on fuel/water separator

  • (1) 8-gallon fuel tank w/deck filler cap

  • (1) Fuel gauge

  • Whale Gusher 10 manual bilge pump located near helm in cockpit

  • Whale Gulper IC electric bilge pump with water sensor control

  • Lavac Marine toilet with 10 gallon holding tank and deck pumpout

  • 10 gallon fresh water tank for head

Fire & Safety Equipment

  • (2) Kidde Mariner 110 portable dry chemical fire extinguisher located in the accommodations
