Myananda is a 2003 Passport 456 Center Cockpit ready to take you cruising throughout the Chesapeake, Caribbean, or around the world! Designed by legendary naval architect Robert Perry, she was quality built in China & thoughtfully equipped by Passport Yachts in Annapolis, MD. She has carried her crew safely to and from the United & Caribbean in both Caribbean 1500 and Salty Dawg Rallys. Five Kyosera solar panels totaling 525 watt of output and an unbelievably silent & effective Eclectic D400 wind generator throw amps galore into a bank of four new (2021) Lifeline AGM batteries that allow you to run the entire yacht for days without turning on the engine. That's why this 2003 beauty has only 1800 or so hours on it's 75hp Yanmar marine diesel (which was completely serviced and overhauled by Diversified Marine July of last year - see info for details). A 5KW Panda generator and a high output 115 amp Balmar alternator coupled with an amaxing FlexMax Outback charge controller supplement the yacht's energy systems.
The center cockpit configuration enables comfortable sailing while providing outstanding space in the main salon and private cabins below. The galley is well equipped and easy to work in while underway. The interior is light, open, and airy with beautiful teak joinery and finshes everywhere. The aft master cabin with adjoining head & storage galore pamper the senses & provide a wonderful retreat while at anchor or underway.
