Looking for a completely turnkey, joy-stick controlled, low-hour, excellently maintained family boat for this summer?!
**NOTE: do NOT reach out if you are not pre-approved for the FULL asking price of the boat. Cash buyers are preferred as I have title in hand ready to roll**
*Does NOT come with a long-term slip option.. If you're looking for a slip I'd suggest getting on all the waiting lists in Newport and checking in several times a week with the offices*
You’ve come to the right place. Don’t bother with other boats that have a few good pictures but fall apart once you see them in-person. Most boats listed for sale don’t even have charged batteries or the ability to fire up the engines on command. Not to mention once you get a survey done another 30K worth of engine work is needed.
Save yourself the headaches of looking at other boats, this baby is ready to fire up and head to Catalina Island right now!
This boat has had over $19,000 worth of maintenance and upgrades done within the last six months. During my ownership it’s been scraped and cleaned every 2-3 weeks no exceptions. Since being purchased from Texas (fresh water lake) about 5 years ago, this boat has been in Newport Beach harbor since it arrived in Orange County.
List of Maintenance/Upgrades:
Buyer survey completed 12/22/21 (here is the link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1rojwqA2ESlSgBUWBi6eByF_Q4ZETcR-X?usp=sharing)
This boat has been maintained by Matt at M&M Marine in Huntington Beach… no ‘marina mechanics’ have worked on this boat and no inspections by these mechanics will be allowed
Both engines just got their annual service which includes changing the engine oil, engine oil filter, replacing the fuel filter, replacing raw water impeller, changing outdrive gear lube, checking gauges, load testing all batteries, checking and topping off engine coolant, and a test run of the engine upon completion
Riser and manifolds (common fault point) were just taken off and inspected, no issues noted and will last several more years
Engine compression test completed and full engine RPM vs. speed test done and documented in survey
Starboard engine and stern drive were removed and resealed with fresh U joint and exhaust bellows (extensive job on Sundancers)
Hydraulic lines on both outdrives replaced in January, boat was pulled out with Derek at Basin Marine
90% of raw water hoses in engine bay have been replaced with brand new lines and a new rear bilge pump was installed to replace old ‘float’ style system
Starboard steering sensor ($800 part) was found to be faulty and replaced, this is critical for joystick system longevity
That’s a high-level list, happy to give you more details upon meeting.
With only 386 hours on both engines, this boat will be running for a LONG time coming. With continued care, this Sundancer could easily be your boat for 10+ years.
There is not a single warning/code showing on the SmartVessel diagnostics system. Everything has been meticulously reviewed and this boat is ready for you to get on and go! No needed to worry about urgent maintenance or any nagging problems.
Looking to do a deal with the right person/family that knows what they want and have seen a few other boats to know and appreciate the true condition of this gem.
I hope that gives you an idea of the caliber of this boat. I am available on Saturday 5/28 to show the boat at Newport Dunes Marina. Please do not go there to view the boat as it’s behind several locked gates.
Please include your phone number in your inquiry as text/call is preferred.
Thank you!
