In the world of classic ski boats, Century is a name steeped in history and class. Back in 1966 it was between Century and Chris Craft for superiority in ski boats. Which one is a matter of opinion.
This boat is in good condition for its age. It can be brought up to the next level with completion of the restoration. An amazing amount of the original equipment and parts are intact and on the boat. It is unknown what is original, what has been refurbished and what is a replacement.
The late 60's styling is unmatched and this boat will be a head turner wherever it goes. Its automotive-style steering column and gauges demonstrate the history of powerboats and how they imitated the automobiles of the era.

Condition
Boat is in better than expected condition for its age. The seller reports that he had a mechanic tune up the engine, change the oil and cleaned out the gas tank by emptying it. The seller tells me that it ran well with the validation of a well running boat by the mechanic.
