Description

This Rudy model boat was built in 1971 by the Shipyard Navaltecnica - Canav of Anzio with a hull designed by the great Sonny Levi. In 2006 it was totally restored by a well-known shipwright who intervened on the bottom, new teak deck, new sides and deckhouse; painting of the sides and of all the mahogany and interior parts, new upholstery, electrical system entirely redone with the use of a new general electrical panel, recharging system and earth line; also the mechanical part has been completely overhauled with the original engines brought to 0 hours; replacement axles and rudders ring. Used only a few hours in 2012, before the delivery some new coats of paint will be applied on the sides and on the mahogany parts, which is included in the selling price.

Canav - Story:
The founder of the Navaltecnica Shipyard of Anzio was the Commander Attilio Petroni, in the 50s he built the ships for the film Cleopatra and built some boats for the Navy. At that time Commander Petroni and a friend, the father of "Sonny" Levi, owner of a shipyard for the construction for the English navy in Karachi, developed the project of fast boats. The crossed lamellar system dates back to the English and American Clippers and in the Second World War, hundreds of even large patrol boats were built with this system. With the birth of Aerodux resin Sonny Levi had the idea of ​​using the lamellar system with gluing instead of riveting. "A’ Speranziella " was the first pleasure craft built with this system, designed by Sonny Levi, which later became one of the best and winner designer in the world, its hulls won hundreds of competitions. In fact the lines and the strength of the hull allowed to win the most important race for motorboats of the time, the Cowes-Torquay of 1963. The fame of the shipyard induced the lawyer Vincenzo Balestrieri, fond of offshore, to enter as partner giving further impulse to the productivity of the yard and bringing it in a short time among the first in the world.

Questa barca modello Rudy fu costruita nel 1971 dal Cantiere Navaltecnica – Canav di Anzio con carena disegnata dal grande Sonny Levi. Nel 2006 è stata totalmente restaurata da noto maestro d'ascia intervenuto su opera viva, murate, nuova coperta in teak, nuovi fianchi e tuga; verniciatura delle murate, di tutte le parti in mogano e degli interni, tappezzeria nuova, impianto elettrico interamente rifatto con l’utilizzo di un nuovo quadro elettrico generale, impianto di ricarica e linea di terra; anche la parte meccanica è stata completamente revisionata con i motori originali portati a 0 ore; sostituzione boccole assi e timoni. Utilizzata solo poche ore nel 2012, prima della consegna verranno applicate alcune nuove mani di vernice sulle murate e sulle parti in mogano, lavorazione inclusa nel prezzo di vendita.
Canav - Storia:
Il fondatore del Cantiere Navaltecnica di Anzio fu il Comandante Attilio Petroni, negli anni 50 realizzò le navi per il film Cleopatra e costruì alcune imbarcazioni per la Marina Militare. In quel periodo il Comandante Petroni ed un amico, il padre di “Sonny” Levi, proprietario di un cantiere navale per la costruzione di vedette per la marina Inglese a Karachi, svilupparono il progetto delle imbarcazioni veloci. Il sistema del lamellare incrociato risale ai Clipper inglesi ed americani e nella seconda guerra mondiale, centinaia di motovedette anche di notevoli dimensioni furono costruite con questo sistema. Con la nascita della resina Aerodux Sonny Levi ebbe l’idea di utilizzare il sistema lamellare con incollaggio anziché rivettaggio. “A’ Speranziella” su il primo scafo per il diporto costruito con questo sistema, nato su design di Sonny Levi, che divenne poi tra i migliori progettistiche al mondo, le sue carene vinsero centinaia di competizioni. Infatti le linee e la robustezza dello scafo permisero di vincere la più importante gara per motoscafi dell'epoca, la Cowes -Torquay del 1963. La fama del cantiere indusse l’avvocato Vincenzo Balestrieri, appassionato di offshore, ad entrare come socio dando ulteriore impulso alla produttività del cantiere e portandolo in poco tempo tra i primi al mondo.
