This Puget Sound 34, designed by Bill Dixon was built by Chung Hwa Brothers of Taiwan in 1977 with the vessel being launched in 1978. "Osprey" is has a GRP hull and superstructure with teak laid decks and a beautiful wood interior with a number of interesting carvings on the doors and cabinets.
She would make an ideal boat to cruse around the UK coast or take down through the French canals to the Med. She would also make an ideal liveaboard motorboat as she has two heads and double separate cabins. Owned by the current owner since 2014. She has two Ford Lehman diesel 80HP engines that will cruise at 8 knots with a range of 600nm

This Puget Sound 34 offers seven berths in three cabins including the saloon. She has over six feet of headroom through out and also has lots of natural light from the tinted portholes. The teak finished interior and blue upholstery give a warm and cost feel to this motorboat which is enhanced by the Makuni diesel cabin heating system.
The Forward Cabin is accessed via a sliding door at the front of the saloon. It has a large V-berth . The berth has storage beneath and a hanging wardrobe. The Forward cabin also has its own en-suite heads compartment with washbasin and toilet and vanity unit and shower.
Aft of the Forward Cabin and to starboard is the helm position. It provides good visibility through the large windscreen and side windows when sat on the Helmsman seat. It has wheel steering, limited navigation instruments, storage and a sliding door that provides access to the starboard side deck.
Aft of the Forward Cabin is the saloon. This has an L-shaped seating area to starboard with a saloon table that opens out and also drops to convert to a double berth. Opposite is a small settee to port. It has various shelves for additional storage, parquet flooring and curtains throughout.
Opposite the Helms position is the linear style galley. which has a Flavel two burner hob with oven and grill, microwave, 240v fridge, sink a range of storage cupboards.
Aft of the saloon is the master cabin which has a double berth to starboard with storage underneath. To port is a settee that can be used as a single berth. The aft cabin is light and airy which is enhanced by the opening deck hatch and door which leads on to the aft deck.
The aft cabin again has its own en-suite heads with washbasin, shower, Jabsco toilet.
Outside the vessel has wide side-decks which give easy access around the boat. There is seating area at the bow and two seating areas, one on top of the aft cabin and then up some steps to the flybridge which can easily accommodate ten people.
The mast can easily be lowered down on to its own support by one person which that the air draft can be reduced to pass under bridges. etc.
This Trawler motorboat is fitted with twin Ford Lehman 80HP 4 cylinder naturally aspirated diesel engines, with Borg Warner gear boxes that have approximately 2100 hours on them as at December 2020. The engines have shaft drives to a three blade bronze prop.
Twin Morse control levers can be found at the helm and at the flybridge. There are three approximately 500 litre fuel tanks mounted under the saloon floor. The Ford Lehman engines provide a cruising speed of 8 knots and have a maximum speed of 10 knots. The engines were last serviced by the owner in 2019. Makuni diesel cabin heating system.
4 x 12v Batteries (2 x Domestic, 2 x Engine new 2020) charging from engine alternator and 240v Battery Charger. via 240v shorepower system. 240V hot water immersion heater. Vessel is fitted with a battery management system.

History and Construction
This Puget Sound 34 designed by Bill Dixon was built in 1977 and commissioned in 1978. She was built by Chung Hwa Brothers in Taiwan. She has a white GRP hull and superstructure with teak decks and portholes and a teak interior. She was lifted, hull shot blasted and given a preventative osmosis treatment in 2006. The Superstructure was painted in 2010.
She has been owned by the current owner since 2014. She has been used on the Medway River, across to France and through the French Canals. She was last out of the water in 2018 when she was cleaned and anodes changed. She is currently berthed on the River Medway and is being sold as the current owner, is down sizing. She was last surveyed in 2014.
