Description
Formula is an iconic brand, and the 280 SS is their best-selling model of all time. This boat has the optimum power package for this model with twin Mercruiser 350 Mag engines which were new in 2008, and Bravo 3 drives with counter rotating stainless steel props. There are approximately 140 hours on engines and 480 hours on the hull.
Close to thirty thousand dollars ($ 30,000) in renovations and preventive maintenance were completed in 2018 including both engines removed from boat, both Transom Assemblies replaced, both cool fuel pumps replaced, bilge pump replaced, trim pumps replaced, steering cable and steering assembly replaced, fuel injectors Dyno Tested, cleaned and adjusted . Four injectors were replaced, impellers replaced, steering cable replaced, successful Leak Down Test on both engines, complete tune up on both engines. Bottom was soda blasted and sprayed with Interlux Performance Epoxy. Approximately 60 hours on boat since work was completed.
Drives and engines are serviced annually by Mercruiser Certified Mechanics and boat is stored inside a High and Dry facility all year long.
