The Luhrs 38 Open features a wide beam, Carolina flare, and a sharp entry to deliver a smooth, dry ride. The low center of gravity increases stability in a seaway as well as when trolling. A large center console holds all the latest in electronics and instruments while keeping the captain in the center of the action. Visibility is enhanced by the raised custom helm seat and the standard full enclosure. An optional windshield is also available. Rigging baits or working tackle is easy with the integral bait stations which include drawers, washdowns and a sink. An insulated livewell with high-capacity pump will keep the bait alive and ready to go. The standard equipment includes a full tuna tower complete with controls, instruments, seating and even a sunshade plus air conditioning and generator. After a long day of trolling and running, you'll appreciate the accommodations below. A wide, double berth with a real inner-spring mattress awaits you as does the fully-lined head with a luxurious separate stall shower. The settee/dinette will seat you for dinner and convert at night into a double on the lower and a single on the upper to allow for the flexibility you need for family, friends and crew. Any chef will appreciate the Corian-covered galley which includes range, microwave, refrigerator/freezer and plenty of storage.
