Description
A rare opportunity! The Jeanneau Espace 1100 with its inside and outside helm positions makes it ideally suited for the UK climate. It is not often this model comes up for sale. 11 metres, spacious, light saloon, three double sleeping cabins, outside and inside steering positions. Well equipped and comfortable she is available to view in Largs, Scotland.
Accommodations
Three double sleeping cabins arranged from the forward conventional 'V' berth, a side cabin midships and a stern cabin aft to starboard which includes its own vanity unit with sink. Each cabin has good ventilation and light through deck hatches and portholes. There is good storage in cupboards and lockers for all personal gear.
Between the forward and side cabin is a heads compartment with sea toilet and wash hand basin with pressurised hot and cold water.
The galley is arranged in linear style along the starboard side of the boat and has a fridge, s/s sink with pressurised hot and cold water supply, 2 burner and oven cooker (new 2018) and a microwave. Many cupboards, drawers and lockers in this area for all utensils and vitals.
Aft of this is a step up to the deck saloon area. This includes a helm station at the forward end allowing piloting of the boat from undercover if required. Wheel steering, instruments and controls are duplicated here and include switch panels and chart table area. Forming the back of this is a large 'C' shaped saloon seating area arranged around a large folding table which will comfortably seat a full crew.
Behind this on the starboard side is the aft cabin with a large double, vanity sink unit with hot and cold water and storage for all personal gear in a number of lockers and cupboards.
All cabins and the saloon are fed warm air from the Eberspacher heating system which is fitted.
Cockpit and deck
The large aft cockpit area is protected by a canvas spray hood. The wheel steering pedestal is mounted at the aft end and provides good visibility for the helm. Winches are positioned to either side of the cockpit to handle sails and lines. S/S pushpin rails at the aft corners of the deck are fitted with very comfortable quarter seats.
There is a removable cockpit table that can be deployed for alfresco dining when wished.
Easily accessed wide side decks lead to the nearly flush foredeck area. Forward fo this is a good sized anchor locker which houses an electric anchor windlass and still has room to stow the anchor and some fenders.
Stainless steel guardrail wires and stanchions surround and secure the deck.
Sails and rigging.
All poles and spars are aluminium alloy. The standing rigging is all stainless steel and was new in 2018 All lines are terylene or nylon.
Sails include a roller reefing Genoa and a mainsail with slab reefing system and Lazy bag storage atop the boom.
There is a Cruising chute with snuffer and all associated rigging and control lines required for this. There is also an aluminium pole for this.
Electrics and electronics
The boats electrical systems are 12 volt supplied from flooded lead acid batteries. One Starter, two domestic and a dedicated windlass battery. These are charged by engine alternator when motoring or by 240 Volt battery charger (Sterling marine 4 stage unit) when connected to shore supply. This shore supply also feeds a 240 Volt ring main of 13 Amp sockets and an immersion heater element within the hot water tank.
Aliandy is well fitted out with electronic instrumentation giving readouts - at both helm stations of water speed, depth. wind speed and direction. At the inside helm there is a Ratheon SL70 radar (with the scanner mounted at mid mast height), a Garmin GPS Plotter, DSC VHF radio transceiver, AM FM radio with CD player, and a battery monitor display, clock and barometer set alongside an electronic weather station.
