GENERAL SPECS

 

SV Whiskey Jack is a 47ft Leopard (built in 2000 as a Leopard 45).

She was sold to a charter business and then sailed across the Pacific and bought by an Australian couple who planned to retire and cruise the world. After a thorough refit in 2017 (including a full re-rig) the couple sailed her for one season.

 

In 2018 she was bought by her current owners and spent another 6 months at Boat Works in Australia getting outfitted and upgraded for blue water long distance cruising. After exploring PNG, Indonesia, Malaysia and several wonderful months in the Indian Ocean the owners decided this would be their “forever boat’ and spent a year in Cape Town refitting, upgrading and getting the boat completely fit out for the next 5-10 years of adventures.

 

Improvements include:

2 Electric Winches, New paint job, 2 feet added to sugar scoops, New bowsprit & Code D furler, Lithium batteries, New solar panels, 6000W Inverter, 2 Standup Fridges; 250L/H Watermaker

 

All systems, pumps and gear have been inspected, serviced and replaced or spared as well as many many thoughtful cosmetic improvements (upgraded cushions and covers, new floors, new countertops in galley and heads, new washer)
