The Hunter Legend 27 is a surprisingly spacious cruiser with generous accommodation for boat of this length. Large transverse aft double berth in separate cabin, comfortable saloon area with single settee berths leading into V berth double in the forepeak. L shaped galley, heads with holding tank, 240V shore power connection fitted. Lake based with 2 owners from new.
GRP construction with non-slip pattern decks and cockpit. Shoal draft winged keel (draft 1.09m) and spade rudder with wheel steering. Large cockpit with removable transom helm seat. Stainless steel pulpit and pushpit fittings connected by twin guard wires. Large anchor locker.
Powered by a Yanmar 2YM15 15hp inboard diesel engine with 2-bladed fixed propeller. A bank of 2 x 12V batteries provide engine start and domestic power, these being charged via the engine or a shore power battery charger. A 240V shore power circuit allows the use of domestic appliances when hooked up on a jetty. The fuel gauge requires some remedial work on the fuse holder.
Sails and Rigging
Fractional rigged, with deck stepped alloy mast and spars and stainless steel standing rigging. Most running rigging led aft to cockpit for ease of use and safety.
Roller furling foresail with protective UV strip. Slab reefing mainsail mounted in Lazy Jack bag on boom.

Opposite the galley is the heads with marine toilet and holding tank and small sink with cold water supply. The saloon has a central drop leaved table that can seat 6 with ease. The settees are designed to be used as an additional two single berths. V berth double in fore-peak. The shore power connection allows the use of mains appliances.
