Description
Bonin Sloop
1931 Bonin Sloop of 17.8m with an incredible history
Ordered in 1931 by Baron de Turckheim and named after his mother, ELLEN is an exceptional sailboat designed by architect Talma Bertrand, famous for his plans for international gauge boats. Initially rigged as a yawl, ELLEN was converted to a Marconi sloop in 1958.
After sailing across the Atlantic, it joined the Mediterranean in the 1960s, where it is now based in Marseille. A family-owned vessel since 1975 and registered as a Heritage Interest Boat, ELLEN has participated in the main classic regattas of the Mediterranean for over forty years, while remaining a faithful family cruising companion.
If you have dreamed of owning an exceptional sailboat, this dream can now become a reality.
