Description
Well constructed steel blue water cruiser. Updated Yanmar diesel, dual furlers, excellent ground tackle, solar power, wind generator, and refrigeration. All the right stuff to go cruising either here on Georgian Bay or beyond. Bruce Roberts designs are all over the world & capable of cruising to your dream locations. The original owner was the builder & cruised the boat throughout the Caribbean. Present owners are the second owners & have cruised Georgian Bay extensively. Recent survey available.
Deck
Bow & stern rails are extended and are welded with a double rail. Double lifelines. Heavy duty anchor roller. Manual windlass. Raised bulwarks provide safe footing moving on deck. Hard dodger houses 2 solar panels. Bimini. Pedestal steering with Danforth Constellation compass.. Samson posts forward, midship & stern mounted for mooring lines. Downwind pole stows on mast. 2 dorade ventilators. All ports are opening. BBQ mounted on the stern rail. Teak boarding ladder. Lazarette locker houses propane tanks.
Fleming self steering gear mounted on transom. Outboard motor hoist & bracket.
Rig & sails
Double spreader rig. Dual Profurl furling systems. Mast steps to the masthead. Spare set of standing rigging. Self tailing primary winches. Sails are updated and include full batten mainsail, 150% genoa, working jib & staysail. All furling. Mainsail has a stack pack system. Storm mainsail (unused) DRS & storm jib.
Interior
Galley, nav centre & 2 quarterberths are aft. Step down to salon area with opposing settees & centreline drop leaf table. Storage behind backrests. The galley features a deep sink with manual tank & sea water pumps. Propane stove & oven. Well insulated ice box with 12V refrigeration. The nav are has 5 large drawers. Hanging locker aft houses the fridge compressor. There is a Highseas diesel cabin heater which has not been used in many years & is sold "as is" Enclosed head has a sink & primary & secondary holding tanks. Large hanging locker opposite. Forward V berth. As expected with most blue water designs, there is ample storage throughout. Brass accents included.
Electrical systems & instrumentation.
4 6V deep cycle house batteries. 1 12V cranking battery. Battery charger, Heart Interface e meter. 2 130 Watt solar panels with controller. High output 100 amp alternator & regulator. Wind generator, not installed. Honda 1000 generator
Standard Horizon VHF radio, Magellan Nav 5000 GPS, Raymarine depth & knotmeter. Autohelm 3000 & RDF.
Additional Information
Extensive ground tackle includes 35 lb CQR, 20 KG Bruce & 45 lb Danforth anchors. 200' 3/8 chain, 40' 3/8 chain & 100' of rode & 25 ft of 3/8 chain with 100' of rode. Back up kellet & Danforth anchors.
Safety gear includes 4 PFD's, 6 harnesses, life sling, Avon life raft, manual & electric bilge pumps. Flares, lifering & fire extinguishers.
Steel cradle. Fenders, lines, fender board, boat hook, radar reflector & emergency tiller. Fishing gear. The wind generator hangs from the rigging & is stowed below when not at anchor.
