This Sormiou 28, designed by Philippot/Alglave and built by the LNM shipyard in 2003, measures 8.71 meters in hull length with a maximum width of 2.97 meters.
It is a light and fast sailboat in all conditions, for regatta enthusiasts and island outings.
It has the advantage of having a retractable keel system with a draft of 1.10m to 1.70m.
The boat is very well equipped with carbon rigging (mast, boom, spinnaker pole, retractable bowsprit)
even the shrouds are carbon filament winding with a Kevlar film sheath... a must!
The wardrobe reflects the rigging: carbon mainsail, carbon genoa, 4 spinnakers (symmetrical and asymmetrical)...
As for electronics, it includes: 12" GPS and Garmin mapping, interfaced with log-speedo and TackTick sounder
- The underwater parts, originally white, were sanded and repainted dark navy blue in February 2021.
- The steering system, too hard, was replaced by a professional (tube of the rudder + bearings: 2018). This system now provides immense pleasure to the helmsman.
