Workboat Maartje

Designed and self-built workboat (2019/2020) for a project on the IJssel by a shipbuilder.
Has been in IJssel water for 2 years and operated as a push/workboat (port of Hattem)
Built from waterproof plywood and impregnated wood, mostly 2 or even 3-fold.
No signs of leakage or deterioration of the wood.

- very suitable for maintenance or installation work, for example
- in ports, at sheet piles, in waterways, as a pushboat, tugboat, or support vessel
- due to wooden construction, very suitable for self-maintenance and/or modifications

weighs about 2.5 tons, just within road width and weight limits
 - 2 x 30 hp Tohatsu, 2.5 m apart; high torque,
 -  electric start plus steering position with seat in the cabin
 -  push knees at the bow
 -  large flat working deck 3 x 2.5 m2
 -  plenty of storage space
 -  railing, crane 

- originally intended as a workboat for a project on the IJssel; has been there for 2 years and operated 
- very stable position, even with load/people on one side
- engines have not yet reached 200 hours (estimated)
- spacious lockable cockpit (panels can be opened/removed)
- lockable storage spaces along the full length in both hulls plus cabin
- LED work lights all around
- manually operated davits at the back
