Are you dreaming of waking up to the gentle lapping of the waves and the sun reflecting off the water? This unique houseboat - a former passenger ferry - has been lovingly converted into a cosy and atmospheric home, where every corner exudes maritime soul and tranquility. The houseboat offers a unique lifestyle where comfort and nature come together.
Spacious and Bright indoor areasWith its spacious living room and open-plan kitchen combined with large panoramic windows, you will experience a unique feeling of light and air - indoors and outdoors merge and you can enjoy preparing meals overlooking the water.
The bedroom has direct access to a terrace where you can enjoy the summer sun and warmth. There is also a bathroom with toilet and shower as well as nice rooms that are currently set up as children's rooms.
Built in a solid and fully insulated construction, the boat is suitable for year-round living or as an idyllic holiday home.
The houseboat offers great outdoor areas with space both above and below. The outdoor areas are perfect for long summer dinners and quiet moments under the stars.
The houseboat is ideal for a family that wants to enjoy the best of both worlds; the cosiness and convenience of a holiday home, combined with the freedom of living on the water. Whether you are enjoying your morning coffee on deck, watching the sun set over the horizon, or spending warm summer evenings with friends and family, this houseboat sets the scene for unforgettable moments.
The owner began a major refurbishment of the vessel five years ago. During the COVID-19 lockdown, the boat was taken to a shipyard where electrical systems, hull, engines and other vital installations were overhauled and brought to a very good condition. In the autumn, the vessel was taken ashore, thoroughly cleaned and treated with bottom paint.
Overall, the houseboat is in very good condition. As the pictures show, there are some cosmetic details that a new owner may choose to complete, such as mouldings around certain windows. However, all essential systems for operation and navigability work flawlessly and have either been replaced or are in solid condition after the extensive renovation.
The current pitch is not included in the deal. It is possible to leave the houseboat in its current location for a period of time, but the space cannot be taken over by a new owner. If the buyer wants to keep the boat in the Aarhus area, they must investigate the possibilities of starting as a guest sailor in other associations or harbours.
