Description
Motorsleepboot Varend Monument ca. 1910
Carefully maintained tugboat from around 1910, equipped with an 85 hp DAF 475 diesel engine (circa 1958). This motor tugboat is listed in the Register of Floating Heritage Netherlands as a floating monument under number 1371 (https://rven.info/register/1371).
The ship has a steel superstructure, the doors and windows are wood, and the paintwork has been well maintained at the beginning of the sailing season. Both in the wheelhouse and in the cabin, there is a spacious headroom of approximately 1.95 m.
Additionally, the ship is equipped with:
