Description

Designed by Walton Hubbard and Frederick Brewer, Vagabundo was constructed by the South Coast Boat Building Company in Newport Beach California for her first owner, Louis Cass, who frequently sailed to Catalina Island and Mexico with his family.

She also served in the United States Coast Guard for surveillance during World War II and proudly displays seven chevrons on her wheelhouse, as authorized by the Secretary of the Navy, to recognize her service.

With traditional lines and a spacious, functional layout, Vagabundo has undergone significant modernization and restoration to fully immerse its new owners in undeniable classic style, rather than an interpretation or replica.

Freshly repainted inside and out with complementary Polyurethane colors in 2022, Vagabundo displays a stunning surface finish quality that must be witnessed in person to appreciate the level of detail and care deserving of such a unique vessel.
