Description

1954 Chris-Craft Commander 36 Express Cruiser – Rare Flying Bridge Model

Step aboard a true piece of American boating history. This 1954 Chris-Craft Commander 36 Express Cruiser is a rare and exceptional find, with only 113 Commanders built that year—and, to the best of our knowledge, just two configured as Express Cruisers with a flying bridge, ventilating windshields, and a folding top with full canvas enclosure.

Crafted with carvel mahogany planking over oak and cypress framing and fastened with silicon bronze hardware, this vintage cruiser embodies the timeless elegance and craftsmanship that defined mid-century Chris-Craft. All original deck hardware has been re-chromed, preserving its authentic character.
