This 1967 Formula 233 Fisherman sits on the original ocean-racing hull designed by Don Aronow—the same DNA that defined early offshore racing. It’s a rare blend of period-correct character and modern mechanical confidence.
The boat has been completely restored from the structure up: new transom, new stringers, new floor, and fresh paint. Everything that matters has been done properly, not cosmetically.
Power comes from a Chevy small-block 350 rated at 270 HP, fed by a classic Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, paired with a Volvo 290 dual-prop (DP) outdrive. Both the engine and the outdrive were recently rebuilt and have approximately 10 hours since completion—barely broken in.
