Description
Description:
New Memories is a well-maintained double-cabin cruising yacht built by the renowned builder Chris-Craft. She features new vinyl plank flooring throughout and underwent a comprehensive aft cabin refit in 2022, now offering twin beds and an adjoining head with a stand-up shower. Forward, you'll find a comfortable V-berth cabin with its own adjacent head.
The yacht’s sanitation system was fully upgraded in 2020, including two premium macerating heads, all-new waste piping, and a 45-gallon holding tank. That same year, the galley was completely refitted with custom cabinetry, an Italian propane oven, a five-burner GE cooktop, and a compact Fisher & Paykel dishwasher. The main salon has a 2024 sectional couch and 2023 wood table and 4 chairs.
Navigation and electronics include a Garmin GPSMAP 4208 chart plotter, SD-22 sounder, and GMR 18 high-definition radar, all installed in 2013. The main salon is equipped with a hideaway 40” flat-screen TV and a brand-new MarineAire 16,000 BTU reverse-cycle air conditioning and heating system (2025). For enhanced maneuverability, she was fitted with a 5-horsepower Sideshift stern thruster in 2020, complemented by a matching bow thruster added in 2025.
Power systems are robust and thoughtfully designed. A Xantrax Prosine 3KW inverter/charger (4000W surge) supplies 120V AC to overhead LED lighting, outlets, and the refrigerator. Four Trojan L16G-AC deep-cycle batteries (installed in 2020) offer extended off-grid capability—up to 52 hours at 25 amps—minimizing reliance on the onboard Onan 6.5KW generator. Additional batteries include one deep-cycle for the port engine, two for house DC and starboard engine start, all charged via a 30-amp, three-output Marinco charger. The generator has its own dedicated battery and Marinco 6-amp charger, installed in 2013.
Shore power is safely managed through twin SmartPlug 30-amp connectors and two Victron Isolation Transformers (2025). All through-hull fittings were replaced in 2015, along with new Racor filters for both engines and the generator. The hull received fresh bottom paint in 2025.
Marquipt Tiderider stairs for easy boarding.
An injury to the skipper has limited his mobility and prompts this sale of a beloved family member.
