This is a 195 foot ice strengthened ship built in 1972 and maintained as a survey research vessel. The vessel has an ice strengthened, molded steel hull. Machinery selection and configuration has been chosen for dependability, station keeping and economical operation. It has Dynamic Positioning, USBL Positioning Systems and two A-Frames. There is a large clear aft deck, large survey room, work stations, and labs.  There are berths for 32 crew and survey personnel. The ship is well priced for a well-equipped and fully functioning ice class survey/research vessel.
