A legendary vessel from the renowned Bertram shipyard in good shape.
A 1974 Bertram 28 Flybridge, ready for use, currently in the water at the marina of Santa Maria di Leuca (LE). Price is negotiable.
Measurements: 8.70 m x 3.35 m x 0.9 m. Weight: 5,500 kg.
Fitted with dual 256 hp Mercruiser engines from 2004 with 900 h, MIE Carb 5.7L V8, inboard gasoline V-drive shaft. Speed while cruising: 21 knots. Top speed: 28 knots. Engines insurance valid until July 2026. 690-liter gas tank. 180-liters fresh water tank.
Double controls, electric anchor windlass, 220V dock plug, battery charger, 2 batteries, compass, 2 automatic bilge pumps, fiberglass transom platform, rod holders at rest, stainless steel (GIBI) fighting chair with backrest and footrest, built-in and side-mounted, GPS, depth sounder, RADAR, 12V sockets, freshwater pump, cockpit shower, bathroom with toilet and sink, courtesy lights, gas stove, sink, refrigerator, cabin with double bed, spacious convertible dinette with 2 beds and table, bath ladder.
Every two years, a certified mechanic conducts a complete hull and engine service using original products, with risers and manifolds replaced every four years.
2004: Driven by upgraded 260 hp MerCruiser motors, revised gearboxes, bigger 32 mm shafts, and redesigned propellers.
2007: Electrical system revamped, hull refurbished (preventive osmosis treatment), polishing, and slip-resistant deckhouse paint applied.
2016: 1 kW thru-hull transducer, Lowrance fish finder, 1 kW amplifier module (sharp image at depths exceeding 1,000 meters, tested in the Ionian Sea).
2021 (refit): engines taken out, fully refurbished, and painted; soundproofing installed in the engine room; engine water filters extracted and refurbished; inverters completely overhauled; on-deck steering wheel maintained; electrical system cables and terminals overhauled; under-deck grounding system refurbished; fuel tank connections overhauled; extensive maintenance and reinforcement of the engine base beams; protective and preventive anti-corrosion treatment applied to steel screws and bolts, engine mounts, and rudder shafts; bilge and engine rooms painted with a premium product. New items: 2 batteries, coils, spark plug wires, risers and manifolds, starter motors, seawater and recirculation pumps, throttle levers and inverter wires (Ultraflex Matchzero), battery chargers, galvanic isolators, steering wires, complete sea cocks with through-hull fittings, sea cocks and anti-blocking valves made of high-quality bronze (bronze “Maestrini” sea cocks and exhausts and bronze “Guidi” valves from the Alex line), fuel supply hoses, 2 automatic bilge pumps.
2025: fulfill engine maintenance (belts, impellers, fuel, oil, carburetor filters, spark plugs, engine oil, exhaust risers, and manifolds); install two 1100 A (180 AH) batteries, and seawater and recirculation pumps for both engines; dry docking and antifouling.
