De Lunstroo 56 - (Total Refit 2015) is a piece of maritime history and undoubtedly one of the most eye-catching motor yachts cruising around. The ship was launched in 1974 but underwent a complete refit in 2015 at Nicolaas Witsen, where no expense was spared. The ship has received 2 new Perkins engines, known for their low RPM and low noise levels. During the refit, the following was carried out: New solid teak deck (22 mm), new teak cabin roof (15 mm), all lacquered teak elements of the cabin structure have been newly manufactured, chrome portholes, new packaged window frames, the entire electrical installation has been renewed including pumps and other devices, new navigation equipment, new propeller shafts, propeller shaft bearings, thrust bearings, and propellers. All clear varnish work with impregnating resin and Double UV Coating from Dubbelcoat Van de IJssel (except for the round wood). Morse engine control converted to electronic control, Kabola central heating with hot water supply installed, new upholstery, new mattresses. The Lunstroo 56 offers plenty of living space in the salon and on the aft deck. It is a unique motor yacht with high-quality finishes, modern comfort, and new technology, suitable for longer stays.
