The Albin 30 was designed by Per Brohall. Built by Albin Marine AB in Sweden. The big brother of the Albin 25 is a true semi-planing boat and features a powerful engine, a tilted Perkins of 115 hp, with a very modest fuel consumption at cruising speed as the engine runs at about 1200 RPM, but if necessary, with 1800 RPM, it has more than enough power for the rivers or the Zeeland waters.

The very heavy (weight) Perkins engine is slightly tilted to starboard in the boat, and to keep the boat balanced, all tanks are located on the port side. At the time, the boat set the new line for Albin, slightly tighter boats with a more contemporary appearance, especially above deck; however, in the hull, the family traits of the other Albin motorboats are clearly visible.

The hull clearly bears the later signature of Per Brohall, and especially the bow and the fore ship are recognizable, while the aft ship is more robustly designed (compared to the Albin 25) to smoothly achieve a true semi-planing speed. The curves in the hull are rounded, making it a semi-round bilge.

The boat is absolutely a good, sleek, and actually timeless design. With some adjustments, the boat could still perform well today and could be labeled as contemporary. The boat has perfect sailing characteristics, and with the strong engine, a considerable speed is achievable.

The layout of the fore cabin: two separate beds in a V-shape in the lockable fore cabin, a separate dinette on the port side, and on the starboard side, you will find the kitchen and toilet.

The aft cabin is furnished with two full-sized beds and a wash area (small sink).

The open wheelhouse (can be closed with a tent roof) has a two-person steering bench and a separate table and seating area.

It is estimated that about 10 Albin 30s have been delivered in the Netherlands, making this a rare opportunity!

• The cozy and wide 'sailing bench' on the port side is even wide enough for two people. This bench ingeniously folds out so that the cockpit table has two benches to eat at in the spacious open mid-cockpit.

Both in the forepeak, on the dinette, and in the aft cabin, two people can sleep.
