Description
Launched in 1978, Calypso is a 39-meter classic built by Feadship, a true depiction of the elegance and capability the yard has maintained since the beginning. Her stunning lines and rich interior are complimented by the contemporary décor in the salon and cabins. She has a full beam on-deck master stateroom, a full beam VIP stateroom which can act as a second master, two queen-sized staterooms, a twin room with a pullman bunk, and a nanny’s room with a single twin.
Aft of the wheel house, a versatile bridge deck can be configured multiple ways. There are comfortable lounge chairs, a jacuzzi with built-in seating pads, a wet bar, and a barbecue. If you plan to entertain, this area can also accommodate an additional 12 seat dining table which combined with the aft deck table seats a total of 22 guests. The steps facing aft lead seamlessly to the functional lazarette and swim platform.
The yacht has original caterpillar D379 engines, Quantum zero speed stabilizers, a state of the art AV system, and a recently upgraded bridge.
