This Biam 800 is equipped with a powerful Volvo Penta MD30 diesel engine (65 HP, 4-cylinder) – reliable, powerful, and well-maintained. Thanks to the specific spitsgatter hull shape (sharp bow and stern), the boat sails very stable and comfortably, even on rougher waters. The shallow draft of only 0.9 meters makes this boat extremely suitable for both large rivers and shallow inland waters.
Comfort and layout
The boat is 8.3 meters long and 2.9 meters wide, with surprisingly ample space on board. There are 5 sleeping places:
- 2-person bed in the cabin (round seating convertible),
- 1-person berth (currently used as storage),
- 2-person bed in the cockpit (to be realized with the comfortable round seating).
