Sleeps up to (4) owners and guests in two staterooms; one enclosed head with separate sit-down stall shower. LAYOUT FROM FORWARD: Chain locker is followed by the FORWARD PRIMARY CABIN, offering a double berth to starboard with built-in storage, and opening overhead skylight hatch.

COMPANIONWAY aft leads past the GUEST BUNK CABIN, offering over / under single berths, and built-in storage; ENCLOSED HEAD is adjacent. GALLEY is amidships and U-shaped, wrapping to port; steps up and aft land in the MAIN CABIN with INSIDE HELM STATION set forward to starboard. Light and bright SALON is open for easy conversation and views!

Aft and out through sliding glass 'wall of windows' steps into a spacious COCKPIT, sporting 'proper nautical' teak sole and capboards. Teak and stainless ladder at starboard forward leads up to the FLYBRIDGE with excellent views and full UPPER HELM.

INTERIOR is in exceptionally clean condition throughout, featuring 'proper nautical' teak showcased by updated upholstery and carpeting in neutral sand tones - ready for your splashes of color in throws and artwork! CABIN HEAT is via diesel furnace system. ENTERTAINMENT electronics include CD stereo system with salon and cockpit speakers, plus flat screen TV mounted in the forward cabin.

Comfortable GALLEY offers full features and equipment, including upright stainless faced refrigerator with freezer; galley stove; microwave oven; stainless galley sink; hot / cold pressure freshwater system with hot water heater; and ample cabinet plus drawer storage throughout for wares and stores.

Remarks

"Introduced as a replacement for the Egg Harbor 38 Sedan in 1975, the principal difference between the Egg Harbor 40 and her predecessor is the 40's larger cockpit dimensions. The original 38-foot hull was stretched, and the additional length adds much to her graceful profile... A large and unobstructed cockpit made the Egg Harbor 40 Sedan a popular and competent sportfisherman, and the teak sole and covering boards were standard."
