Description
Heron underwent a major overhaul from 2016 to 2019. The vessel’s systems were serviced or replaced as needed. In addition, a custom trailer was built, interior and exterior teak surfaces were renewed, and mechanical and plumbing were upgraded.
INTRODUCTION
The Sundowner Tug Company imported three models measuring 30, 32, and 36 feet in length. Jack Sarin, N.A. of Bainbridge, WA, provided the naval architecture, while Ho Hsing FRP. Co. Ltd and Chauson of Taiwan were the builders. The models were marketed as the Sundowner Tug in the U.S. and as the Regency in Canada. Their design features a distinctive reverse-raked windscreen. The vessel was built with a solid fiberglass hull and a beautifully handcrafted teak interior.
