1986 Wilbur 34, a Maine built Down-East Classic, finished by Blackdog Boat Works of Annapolis in 1987.
This well-crafted vessel features a versatile 3-station helm layout, with a solid glass bottom and hull sides. The construction includes a round chine design, carried down to a full, water-ballasted keel, providing superior stability and a smooth, comfortable ride. In 2006, the original engine was replaced with a new Volvo D6 310 hp diesel engine, which now has just 710 hours of use. A bow thruster has been added for easier docking, along with a Robertson Autopilot for reliable navigation. Recent upgrades include new D8 batteries, fresh pumps, and Garmin electronics for enhanced functionality. The boat received fresh Flag Blue Awlgrip on the hull sides and Awlgrip White on the topsides in the summer of 2024, giving her a striking and well-maintained appearance. The engine has just undergone a thorough inspection, with oil analysis completed, and the owner has a full maintenance log available for review.
