Fleming Pilothouse

Accommodations

One of the most beloved features of the Fleming Yachts is the large salon and galley combined into one communal area. As you step from the aft deck through the double sliding doors you will find an L-shaped settee and hi/low table to your port and two comfortable “easy chairs” to the starboard. In the aft corners of the salon, you will find the television cabinet to starboard and the bar cabinet to port. The U-shaped galley boasts a large double sink with pull out faucet and a three-burner gas stove and oven below. Across from the galley within easy reach is the full-sized refrigerator/freezer. There is abundant storage throughout the galley for all your supplies. 

One of the key features of the Fleming’s safety and ease of use is the centrally located fore and aft companionway to the staterooms. No curved triangular steps to navigate in rough weather! As you step down to the lower level you will find a bunkroom on your starboard with head/shower/laundry on your port. Moving forward you will find a second stateroom to port and the captain’s quarter forward with ensuite head and shower.

The pilothouse is large with windows all around. There is a comfortable settee and table for your passengers to comfortably watch the world go by while underway. The helm has plenty of room for electronics as well as storage for all your cruising guides and equipment! Stairs next to the settee lead to the flybridge and doors to either side allow for quick access to the walk around decks.  The carpet through the boat has been removed to reveal the gleaming teak and holly flooring beneath.

The salon table is hi-low in a beautiful polished satin teak and opens to create a spacious dining and entertainment area.

Engine and Mechanical

• Lady Laura is powered by a pair of highly desirable naturally-aspirated Caterpillar diesels of 210 hp each. This original power package from Fleming Yachts provides for extremely economical cruising at the vessel’s cruising speed of 9.5 knots. The cruising range of this vessel is over 1000 nm. The simplicity and low revs of the 210 hp engines ensures longevity of the engines and easy maintenance of engines and add-on components.
