Description
The 52' Jefferson Maquessa was designed and built to compete with the very popular Chris Craft 501 Motor Yacht. Both the Jefferson and Chris Craft have done well in the used market. Not many come to market as popular as live-aboards or weekend getaways.
The seller has purchased another yacht and is thus motivated to sell his beloved Jefferson. The yacht is stored under cover in the water on the Chesapeake and ready for sea trial.
Extensive service records are available for review upon agreement to buy with a deposit. Standard contingencies can be written to include a survey, sea trial, and review of service records.
The standard 550hp Detroit 6V92 diesels have less than 2000 hours, and a major rebuild has been performed. The 52 Marquessa cruises at 16-17 knots and a maximum of 21 knots.
