1993 Riviera 33 Convertible
Introduced to the American market in 1990, the Riviera 33 ranks among the most popular small convertibles of her era. For years, Riviera was the largest builder of production boats in Australia. They quickly gained a reputation in this country for durable construction, modern design, and good open-water performance. Initially, the appeal of the Riviera 33 was linked to her very affordable price, the result of a favorable exchange rate versus the Australian dollar during most of the 1990s. Hull construction is solid fiberglass, and like all Riviera models she has a collision bulkhead forward and two watertight bulkheads aft. Riviera produced the 33 with a single-stateroom interior featuring an island queen berth forward, spacious salon, large storage area below the galley floor, and the helm station fitted with deluxe helm and companion chairs.
