The matte black hull gives her a rugged, timeless look, while the elegant paneling and thoughtful details create warmth and class. The superstructure has been recently painted and fitted with new double-glazed windows with uPVC window frames. The spacious cockpit features a beautiful teak floor and is covered by a nearly new cockpit tent.With her characteristic multi-chined hull and a clearance of just 235 cm, this Barkas feels at home on both open water and smaller inland waterways. Wherever you're headed and however long you're underway, you'll want for nothing on board. An induction cooktop, diesel hot-air heating, indoor and outdoor showers, a wastewater tank, a 220-volt boiler, and engine heat ensure a comfortable stay in any season.In terms of autonomy, little is left to be desired, as this Barkas is fully equipped. Six 120-watt solar panels, a 3,000-watt Victron inverter, a 5 kW WhisperPower generator, and three 220 Ah Victron gel batteries make extended stays on the water a given. Navigating and maneuvering are also made easy and confident thanks to Raymarine equipment, including Quantum radar, an A125 chartplotter and autopilot, and a powerful Cupa CP50 bow thruster.The interior has recently been reupholstered and fitted with a new HPL floor, while the batteries for the starter motor and bow thruster were also replaced. All in all, this makes 'Westwind' an exceptionally well-maintained Barkas, ready for many comfortable hours on any water imaginable.
