This is a 654’ RoPax Night Ferry built in Japan in 1996. It has recently been under contract to the Japanese Defense Dept., so it is in excellent condition. It carries up to 507 passengers with 106 in berths. It can carry up to 122 trucks plus 80 cars. It can achieve a speed of 29.6 knots making it one of the fastest ships of this type.
