"Marijke", the Bekebrede 12.00 Dutch-Rose mirror trawler was the first ship we sold after our start here in Terherne. So it all began with "Marijke" and that start was good! Within just 2 weeks she was sold, which was not surprising given the condition of the ship, etc. She was from the first owner, who took very good care of her, but the second owner is no less diligent. "Marijke" is therefore very well maintained and further improved in detail. This Bekebrede 12.00 Dutch-Rose mirror trawler is meticulously finished with solid teak. The engine room is spotless, just like the rest of the ship down to every corner! It is a spacious family boat, fully equipped. The current owner has replaced the manually operated toilet with a chemical toilet for environmental reasons. However, it is very simple to convert back. The aft deck is equipped with a new, storm-resistant Bimini, and every hatch or storage box is fitted with a cover or tarp to protect the varnish from weather influences and UV radiation.
