Description
“Fatso” is an exceptional example of a well-maintained and highly upgraded Hatteras Sportfish, captain maintained since new and owned by only her second owner. She has benefited from continuous care and thoughtful improvements, with many major upgrades completed in recent years, making her a true turn-key offering.
The vessel received a full exterior hull and topside paint job in 2016, including glassed-over flybridge seams for a clean, modern appearance. In 2019, the bottom was stripped to bare fiberglass, inspected, and professionally barrier coated. Recent updates include new Garmin and Simrad electronics and electronic engine controls in 2023, updated air-conditioning systems throughout, ceramic-coated exterior metal in 2024, generator pan replacement, rudder bearings, and a recently serviced life raft.
Powered by twin 1,350 HP Caterpillar 3412 engines with approximately 2,400 SMO, “Fatso” delivers proven performance and reliability. She is Seakeeper and sonar ready and represents an outstanding opportunity to own a classic Hatteras that has been maintained and upgraded to a standard well above average.
