Pre Amble

"Sojob" has had only 4 owners from new. She has just been fitted with 2 reconditioned JCB inboard deisels and is presented in good order. The boat is a Dutch Steel 42 motor cruiser built in Steel in approximately 1998 by Gelder Malsen Boat builders of Holland.

She is a Steel hull and superstructure Aft cabin motor cruiser with an outside helm on the raised aft cabin roof. The boat has twin bilge keels of steel construction and runs about half the length of the boat.

The hull is designed to be a semi displacement speed type hull

The decks are of steel plate of 5mm thickness, which have been painted grey paint. There are mooring cleats fitted to either side at the stern, to mid deck area on both sides and foredeck.

Coach roof and main superstructure is of 4mm steel and is paint white, as the rest of the boat and in similar construction style to the hull plating.

Superstructure is split in to Three main zones:-
Forward cabin roof, and the saloon coach roof itself with a large solar panel and the aft cabin roof which also act as the deck for the outside helm.There are painted steel hand rails fitted to either side of the saloon roof. The is a folding radar arch fitted over the aft raise deck roof with aerial, horn.
