The boat has lived its entire life in freshwater, currently kept at a private lake house. The hull was sandblasted and repainted in 2021, and ­in 2024, both the canvas and Eisenglass were replaced. Also notable is the custom-fabricated hardtop — a professionally built, rock-solid upgrade that addresses a common issue with the factory 540 top, which featured a smooth fiberglass underside known for rattling and vibration.
