This Dufour 45 Classic built in 1999, registered in 2000, named Takuna 4,
is a true gem of offshore sailing that captures the essence of French tradition,
combining timeless solidity with a modern and high-performing heart, ready to sail the seas
with the loyalty of a tested adventure companion.
In 2002, Vismara Yacht Design Studio gave this boat a revolutionary technical upgrade,
superior to any other model in the series. The Sparcraft mast was replaced with a sleek through-mast
measuring 18.81 meters from the deck, with 3 sets of quartered spreaders, featuring a generous and optimized ORC sail plan. The boom was adapted, the bulb increased by +150 kg of lead and perfectly aligned to center the center of gravity, making it a cruising racer that accelerates with
grace on every point of sail, offering unmatched power and control – ideal for those who love offshore adrenaline while maintaining comfort.
The spacious and welcoming teak cockpit, with complete cushions and a retractable central table, is perfect for sailing safely – all maneuvers led here thanks to the efficient furler, 6 powerful Lewmar winches
(models 44/58/48 self-tailing, including 1 electric since 2016), 8 Antal stoppers and Harken mainsheet –
as well as for convivial evenings with friends and family.
Below deck, the hospitality is enveloping: spacious for 8 guests (up to 12 certified CE Category A),
the 90s dinette has a table that lowers to create a fourth double berth, ideal for family cruises. The teak interiors give a dry, warm, and maritime look of yesteryear, with a forward owner's cabin
(double bed, private bathroom with shower), two doubles aft, shared guest bathroom, huge kitchen
(fridge and oven replaced in 2014, Corian countertops, double sink with also saltwater), salon
with LCD TV.
The maintenance speaks for itself: always lifted annually with rigorous practices – fresh hard matrix antifouling Boero, spiral stainless steel rigging – offers total peace of mind, with valid RINA until 2030,
liferaft, batteries (3x90 Ah Bosch service 2017 + 1 high-start engine 2020), hot water boiler
(engine/220V), automatic bilge pumps with alarm and Volvo Penta MD22P of 44 kW/60 HP.
The Merlini Marine Consulting appraisal of 2020 (rating "excellent" everywhere) confirms an impeccable composite hull without signs of grounding: the underwater part protected by a preventive Aquastop epoxy cycle.
Originally equipped with piping for internal heating.
Nothing is missing for worry-free sailing: Raymarine pro instrumentation (E120 chart plotter with 48 nm radar,
tridata ST70 log/eco/speed, ST60 wind/wind gauge, autopilot ST6000, Icom VHF, Raytheon GPS, AIS,
