Najad 331 from 1999, a vessel from the renowned Swedish shipyard, with a sportier yet always comfortable design for this Swedish boat featuring a protected cockpit and fractional rigging
With the Najad 331, the Swedish shipyard began in 1997 to focus more on the sailing performance of its cruising yachts, traditionally dedicated to offshore cruising. Thus, the appendages of the hull were lengthened and the profile modified to reduce leeway and improve control, while the stern section became wider and flatter to increase stability on downwind courses. Another modification, later adopted on other models, is the introduction of fractional rigging in this model with a roller furler and jib. External description: The wheel steering and removable mainsheet traveler provide space in the cockpit, which has two comfortable steps with a bathing ladder at the stern, and the protected cockpit is equipped with the characteristic sprayhood on the coachroof with a bimini. Internal description: The interiors include a bathroom and a stern cabin, an "L" shaped kitchen, a chart table, and a "V" shaped bow cabin in perfect Najad style with high-quality finishes and woods.
