Description
The Albin 28 delivers award-winning performance that is ready for any kind of seas. With almost 1,000 hulls produced, the Albin 28TE has a great reputation for high quality, outstanding handling characteristics, economical diesel performance, and comfort for cruising or fishing. The pilot house boasts a full hard top and windshield that is perfect for year round use. The hard top has a foldable extension that will provide shade for the entire cockpit or if you are fishing for the big one, it folds out of the way. This is a boat that will work as a small cruiser, commuter, or as an extended range fishing machine. There is potential sleeping accommodations for four and an enclosed head below. The single Yanmar 330 hp diesel provides efficient and reliable power with easy cruising up to about 16 to 19 knots and a top speed of 23 knots. Having a propeller and shaft versus a drive leg increases reliability and reduces maintenance costs.
This Down Easter has beautiful design lines based on North Sea working boats from whence Albin Marine owes its heritage.
Big cleats, walk-around decks and a bow thruster made for a snappy departure from the marina. Whether seated or standing, you get commanding views from inside the wheelhouse and a head room is in excess of 6'2".
