Building on this impressive foundation, "Mr. Bradley" has undergone a meticulous full refit, transforming it into a modern marvel while preserving its timeless charm. Let’s dive into the details of this comprehensive upgrade. Over the course of two years 2024-2025, every aspect of the Blackfin was thoughtfully upgraded. The following is a detailed list of the major refit enhancements:
- Full Service of the twin Caterpillar 3208 engines including; new after coolers, new exhaust and risers, a full 1000 hour service, new turbo chargers, new mounts, new hoses, new water pumps and all new oil and filters. $48,000.00
- A new Phaser 4.5KW generator was installed and a custom step added for protection and ease of engine room access. $15,000.00
- All new top of the line Furuno electronics including AIS, Sounder, 25KW radar and upgraded charts
- Custom cockpit stand alone Garmin plotter with its own 1KW sounder
- New enclosure
- Full bottom job and running gear reconditioned
