Accommodation

The accommodation offers up to four berths in an open plan layout.  

Double V Berth to forepeak with storage beneath. Escape hatch to foredeck. Sink unit to port with cold pumped water supply and locker above.  Galley unit to starboard with portable gaz stove and locker above. Settee berths to port and starboard sides with stowage below and centre plate between. Headlining and hull-sides in easily maintainable white textured finish. Interior lights.

Mechanical and Electrical

Located in outboard well. Honda 6hp 4 stroke outboard.

Gaff rigged cutter. Varnished wooden mast, boom and bowsprit. Stainless steel tabernacle for raising and lowering mast. Stainless steel standing rigging. Terylene running rigging. Slab reefing to mainsail. Jib and staysail. All lines led aft. Fully retractable bowsprit. Tan sails.

Construction

Built in 2001 by Cape Yachts of Fareham to a design by Dudley Dix. Navy blue GRP hull. Cream GRP superstructure with molded-in non-slip to decks. Aft self draining cockpit with seating and stowage under. Lifting keel. Tiller steering to transom hung rudder. Teak rubbing strake. 

Comments

The Cape Cutter 19 is a pretty 19 footer, not dissimilar to the Cornish Shrimper. Her mini bilge stub keels and centre board allow drying out and make her ideal for shallow waterways and the tidal rivers of the East Coast.

This particular example is presented in good order and is offered for sale with refurbished braked two wheel road trailer and Honda 6hp Four Stroke Outboard. Great opportunity to acquire a traditionally styled trailer sailer, ideal for creek crawling or overnighting.
