Description
Hull & Structure:
Deep-V solid fiberglass and a 9' 7" beam make this an especially desirable offshore platform. Grady-White has an excellent reputation for build quality and ride comfort, and this vintage (early 2000s) is still considered one of their "golden eras" of manufacturing.
As long as the stringers and transom are solid (no soft spots or moisture), the hull alone holds good value.
Engines & Systems:
It' s a big plus that both outboards have had recent, major preventative maintenance:
New heads, bolts, gaskets, thermostats, plugs, impellers, anodes, and lift pumps. Oil pumps and filters replaced. Injectors ultrasonically cleaned. Gauges and fuel/oil systems working properly.
Even though the cowlings have cosmetic wear (expected at this age), the mechanical reliability matters far more to most buyers. A detailed maintenance history like this will add strong buyer confidence. Interior & Comfort:
New Sunbrella upholstery (berth and cockpit) and refreshed isinglass are great selling points.
The head system rebuilt with no leaks is a big plus - marine sanitation issues can be a dealbreaker for many. Clean, functional living spaces on these express boats make them attractive for both fishing and cruising buyers.
