X-Yachts IMX-40

IMX 40 Pixel from 2001 in excellent condition, a very fast optimized boat, with racing rigging, sails, and tuff-luff, configured as a true Fast-Cruiser with cruising rigging, anchor windlass, cushions, roller furling, and dedicated sails.
Introduced in 2000, the IMX 40 quickly became one of the stars on many racing fields. The hull of this X-Yachts design was created, as always, by Niels Jeppesen, who designed slender bow entries, a voluminous stern, and a rather flat hull with a lead bulb keel.

External description:
spacious cockpit with removable benches, six winches, and a large carbon wheel. This material is also used for the mast supported by a rod rigging.

The interiors are essential in excellent condition, featuring high-quality X-yacht craftsmanship with a kitchen equipped with burners, oven, sink, and a large fridge, two cabins at the stern and one at the bow, where the bathroom is also located; two additional berths can be created from the seating in the central table area. The kitchen is to the right of the descent and the chart table is to the left. The engine is a 40 hp Volvo saildrive with a membrane replaced in 2021.

As with all boats designed by the Jeppesen brothers, the hull of these boats is powerful, resulting from careful designs and the use of numerous features, first among them the inclusion of a steel grid inside the hull, a kind of spider structure that provides rigidity and lightness to the boat. The weight saved in the construction of the hull is added as ballast under the bulb, providing stability and speed to the hull.
