It’s built with Boston Whaler’s Unibond / foam‑filled hull construction, meaning the hull is foam‑cored (closed‑cell) between inner and outer skins. This gives “unsinkable” buoyancy (i.e. it resists taking on water and remains afloat even when flooded) and dampens noise. The hull is a deep‑vee design with a transom deadrise of about 20° (i.e. the angle of the hull bottom at the back) to help in rough water.
