2002 Carver 356 Motor Yacht with twin 6.2L Mercruiser and Generator
This boat has lived its life on freshwater mainly on the Illinois River System and stored indoors when not in use. If you are looking for a well maintained, turn key aft cabin this is the boat for you with under 700 hrs this boat has a ton of life left in her.
Like all Carvers from this time frame the 356 was built on a solid fiberglass hull with a modest deadrise and shallow keel for stability. Key to her enduring popularity was her expansive, wide-open interior with the amenities of a much larger cruising vessel. The salon features a single barrel chair and a full sized leatherette sofa. Forward is a dinette for four adjacent to the galley which features a full sized fridge freezer, 3 burner cooktop, oven and ample storage. The forward berth was redesigned between the 355 and 356 for a larger berth that can sleep two adults and small bunk for a child. The master is spacious with an angled queen and full sized head with a standing shower tall.
