Kuster A-38

The Kuster A-38 has a robust and very elegant appearance, and with a headroom of 2.40 meters, the many inland waters are open to you without limits! Spacious side decks, a safe stainless steel railing, and high-placed ventilation for engine room ventilation, along with many handrails, make her a seaworthy lady.

The owner's cabin is located at the bow of the vessel and has a freestanding double bed. There are spacious cabinets on both the starboard and port sides. The guest cabin has a double bed, a spacious wardrobe, with connections for a washing machine if needed, and there is enough space and headroom to change. Daylight enters the guest cabin through two portholes and a well-accessible escape hatch. Opposite the guest cabin is the wet cell area with a toilet, sink, and separate shower room, and here too are two portholes and an escape hatch for ventilation and daylight. In the salon, you will find an L-shaped sofa on the starboard side that offers ample seating and a comfortable view all around. The removable seat between the galley and the salon table creates space for a fifth person. On the port side is the steering system with extensive navigation equipment and engine control panel, and a luxury helm seat that hangs freely from the floor. The galley is placed against the back of the salon in an L-shape. The large rear window can be fully opened, allowing direct contact with the open cockpit with outside steering position. This very large open cockpit is equipped with benches against the transom and on both the starboard and port sides. Below are watertight storage boxes. The storage boxes on the starboard and port sides also serve as steps to the side decks. Under the side decks are shelves where fenders and mooring lines, etc., can be stored, but are still easily accessible. Under this open cockpit is a large storage area that has ample space for folding bikes and many other large items that are often taken on longer trips. The tent over the open cockpit provides perfect shelter from wind and water, greatly increasing the living space, even in bad weather. The Kuster is equipped with a powerful four-cylinder Deutz diesel engine of 106 hp that provides more than enough power, even against wind and current, and thanks to the hydraulic bow and stern thrusters, docking is a piece of cake.
