Description
This well-maintained 2004 Sea Ray 380 Sundancer has been kept in freshwater and primarily used for cruising on the Tennessee River. Powered by twin MerCruiser 8.1 Horizon engines with approximately 650 hours and equipped with a Kohler 7.3 kW generator, this vessel is turnkey and ready for her next owner.
Built on a non-stepped hull, the boat features a 39’ LOA, 12’6” beam, and 3’1” draft, offering excellent stability and easy handling for inshore and inland cruising. She cruises comfortably around 18 MPH and turns 4400–4500 RPM at wide open throttle. The hull is white with blue bottom paint, applied approximately five years ago, with no blistering or structural concerns reported.
The cockpit and helm are well laid out for entertaining and relaxing, featuring removable carpet, full canvas enclosure, aft cockpit washdown, bar sink with ice maker, and an upgraded Fusion stereo system with multiple speakers throughout the vessel. A new anchor with electric windlass and remote simplifies anchoring, while blue underwater lights enhance nighttime ambiance.
Below deck, the 380 Sundancer offers an inviting and spacious interior with sleeping accommodations for up to six. The forward stateroom and aft cabin both feature TVs, and the salon seating converts into an additional berth. Comfort features include forward and aft heat and air conditioning, a Vacuflush head with shower, and a new Norcold dual-voltage refrigerator installed approximately one year ago. Salon upholstery is in excellent condition, and the carpet and matching carpet covers are clean and well maintained.
Electronics include Garmin GPS and radar, VHF radio, shore power, onboard inverter, engine compartment fire suppression, and five recently replaced Duracell batteries. Fuel capacity is 275 gallons across dual tanks, with a 70-gallon freshwater tank and 42-gallon holding tank, allowing for comfortable extended cruising.
The boat has been owner-operated and consistently serviced, with engines and generator receiving oil service in summer 2025. There is no known damage history, insurance claims, or groundings. Overall cosmetic condition is very good, with only minor scratches noted on the bow.
This Sea Ray 380 Sundancer is being offered as the owner is stepping away from boating and is motivated to sell. The boat is located in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Showings are available for motivated buyers, and sea trials are welcome for qualified purchasers.
